In my work I have used the image of the outside wall that is left from the entrance of the Estonian Museum of Applied Art and Design. Estonia’s most impressive works of applied art from the early 1900s till today can be seen here. The museum is accommodated in an old three-storey building which used to be a granary. The granary was constructed between 1683-1695.
For my work WALLPAPER & WALL HANGING, the photo of an old wall is printed on paper as wallpaper (literally wall on paper) and the same image is also woven with jacquard looms as a wall hanging (literally the wall is hanging).
