Recently the passing of 500 years from the death of one of the most famous North-European medieval artist Bernt Notke was commemorated. To celebrate this event Heino Prunsvelt designed his graphical version of Notke's Totentanz which belongs to the collection of Saint Nicholas Church in Tallinn. This in turn inspired me to design apillow with phosphorescent efect using this pattern of the eternal intercourse of life and death.
